Privacy Policy

Rorai Privacy Policy

Effective: June 22, 2026

1. Where This Policy Applies

This policy explains how Rorai handles the information you choose to save while using the app. The current version is designed to work locally on your device, so the core device records, QR label data, and maintenance notes you enter are kept for your own organization rather than as a shared online account.

If you choose to print, export, or share a label or backup, the information you decide to expose is no longer private in the same way as a record stored only on your device.

2. Information You Choose to Save

We process the details you enter for a device record, such as a device name, category, model, serial number or asset tag, purchase date, warranty end date, location, maintenance history, and notes. You may also save label preferences or other organization details that help you keep track of household or office equipment.

When you generate a QR label, the app uses the record data you selected to create the label preview. If you print the label, anyone who scans it can see the information that is visible on that label.

We also process information related to your use of Coins purchases through Apple so that the app can unlock the relevant paid features after a successful transaction.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above to create and update your local device archive, show warranty status, display maintenance timelines, generate QR labels, support printing and export, and keep the app working in a way that matches your chosen records.

We may also use limited app and device information to troubleshoot problems, understand whether features are functioning, and respond when you ask for help. We do not use your device inventory as a marketing list.

4. Platform Services and Purchases

Coins are sold through Apple in-app purchase services. Apple handles payment processing and may provide transaction status so the app can confirm your purchase and update your balance. Coins are a digital in-app value item, not cash, and they do not have a cash-out feature.

Some app features may require Coins, including additional label styles, batch export, or expanded backup-related functionality. This policy does not describe any subscription plan because the current product setup does not use one.

5. Retention, Security, and Your Choices

Device records and maintenance notes stay on your device until you edit or delete them, or until you remove the app and its local data. Exported files remain under your control wherever you save them. Purchase-related records may also be retained by Apple according to its own policies.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no local storage system is perfectly secure. Protect your device, lock screen, backups, and any printed labels that contain sensitive details.

You can change or delete records inside the app, disable notifications in device settings if they are enabled, and decide what information to include on printed or shared labels.

6. General Use and Children

Rorai is intended for general users who manage personal, household, or small office equipment. It is not directed to children, and it is not designed to collect information from children knowingly.

7. Updates and Contact

We may update this policy when the app changes or when legal requirements change. The newest version will replace the previous one when it is published in the app or in the related H5 entry point.
